A Case Study of Introducing Blended Learning in the Egyptian context

This research investigates the possibility of introducing blended learning innovation in one of the Egyptian public schools from a management perspective. The importance of the research comes from the growth and explosion in the field of online learning in many institutions around the world and the need to mix the formal shape of education with online learning. This study discusses the innovation from its many aspects considering decision-making, budgeting, and staff training. It explains the nature of change and the cultural factors that lead to the resistance of such educational change and how teachers, parents and learners react to what it might be considered a threat to the traditional form of education in public schools in a conservative society.
