Volume 1 of the Handbook of Colorants Chemistry covers the fundamentals of color as well as the scientific principles, via the presentation of molecular compositions of inorganic and organic pigments. Dr. Klöckl studied chemistry at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. Afterwards he started his own business as a freelance software developer in the petroleum industry. Since 1999 he has worked as a software developer, consultant, project manager and product manager in the field of information technology at Deutsche Börse Frankfurt, netpioneer GmbH Karlsruhe, Cap Gemini Switzerland, Vitaphone GmbH Mannheim.
